As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regional collaboration and promote the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution, ADR, the Brunei Darussalam Arbitration Centre, BDAC, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Asian International Arbitration Centre, AIAC, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Singing on behalf of BDAC was its chairperson, The Honourable Judge Radin Safiee bin Radin Mas Basiuni, Judge of the Intermediate Court. Under this partnership, BDAC and AIAC will explore opportunities for exchange visits, co-hosting of conferences, seminars, and training programmes, as well as initiatives that contribute to raising awareness and strengthening the ADR ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region. This strategic cooperation aims to foster confidence, accessibility, and efficiency in resolving commercial disputes across jurisdictions.
