World Alzheimer's Day is observed every year on 21st of September. In conjunction with the celebration, a Memory Walk 2025 was held. The event was organised by Demensia Brunei in collaboration with the Makan Ceria Sendirian Berhad and Jerudong Park Country Club Sendirian Berhad, and supported by D'Sunlit Sendirian Berhad.
Among those present was Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahselfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. With the theme "Ask About Dementia, Ask About Alzheimer's", it is hoped to raise awareness on dementia and Alzheimer's, and its impact on individuals, families and society as well as to promote prevention, early detection and diagnosis. Also joining the event was members of the Senior Citizens Activity Centres in Brunei Muara District, Tutong District and Temburong District.
