The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) and its departments yesterday held the 1448 Hijrah/2026 Maulidur Rasul celebration at the Multipurpose Hall, Level 6, Ministry of Home Affairs building. The event was organised by the Department of Manpower and Employment.
Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Manpower and Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman was the guest of honour.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Mosque Affairs Officer Muhammad Hafiz Nur Adib bin Haji Abdul Manaf.
The gathering continued with a special religious lecture titled ‘Menghayati Sirah, Menyuburkan Aqidah’, by Islamic Da’wah Centre Religious Officer Mohammad Nasyith bin Superi from the MoRA.
The event then featured a Dikir Marhaban presentation by officers and staff from the Department of Manpower and Employment, concluding with a Doa Selamat recited by Mosque Affairs Officer Muhammad Hafiz Nur Adib bin Haji Abdul Manaf.
Legislative Council members representing penghulus and village heads, permanent secretaries at the MoHA, heads of departments, penghulus, village heads, as well as officers and staff from across the MoHA and its departments were also in attendance.
