The Ministry of Finance and its departments held a Dikir Syarafil Anam Presentation Ceremony in conjunction with the 1448 Hijrah Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW Celebration on Friday, 1 Rabiulawal 1448 Hijrah, corresponding to August 14, 2026, at Masjid Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampong Manggis Madang.
Permanent Secretary (Fiscal) at the Ministry of Finance Haji Asrul Adrain bin Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Ahmad was the guest of honour.
Heads of departments and divisions, as well as male officers and staff of the Ministry of Finance and its departments, including officers and staff of Brunei Darussalam Central Bank also attended.
The Dikir Syarafil Anam presentation was held to further enliven the Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW celebrations, while commemorating the Prophet’s (pbuh) contributions towards spreading the message of Islam and nurturing love and devotion towards Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The Ministry of Finance will continue its Dikir presentation ceremony at Universiti Brunei Darussalam Mosque on August 20. The ceremony was organised by the Human Resource Development and Corporate Affairs Division, Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with His Majesty the Sultan’s Flight.
