Insurans Islam General Takaful Sdn Bhd (IIGT) and Premier Motor Company Sdn Bhd, the local authorised distributor of MG Motor and Wuling vehicles, formalised a strategic partnership with a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing at the Premier Motor showroom in Beribi Industrial II Estate on Friday.
The collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to deliver greater value to customers by integrating quality automotive products with comprehensive takaful protection, while enhancing convenience and service excellence for motorists in the Sultanate. The MoU was signed by Haji Zamrin bin Haji Abd Ghani on behalf of IIGT and Sales Manager of Premier Motor Company Sdn Bhd Edwin Chai.
The signing was witnessed by representatives from both organisations, marking the beginning of a long-term collaboration focused on innovation, customer-centric solutions and service excellence.
Under the partnership, customers purchasing MG Motor and Wuling vehicles through Premier Motor will enjoy easier access to IIGT’s takaful protection solutions, providing a more seamless and comprehensive vehicle ownership experience from purchase through to protection.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen customer confidence by combining reliable automotive offerings with trusted takaful coverage, giving motorists greater peace of mind throughout their ownership journey. Representatives from both organisations expressed confidence that the partnership will create long-term value for customers while supporting the continued growth and development of Brunei Darussalam’s automotive and takaful industries through closer industry collaboration and enhanced customer services. – Lyna Mohamad
