Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST) was named the Winner of the Technology Category at the Brunei ICT Awards (BICTA) 2026, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued journey in innovation and digital transformation.
The prestigious recognition was presented during the BICTA 2026 awards ceremony held at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre, Berakas, and was presented by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, who attended as the Royal Patron of BICTA 2026.
The achievement recognises DST’s continued efforts in driving technological innovation, advancing digital solutions and harnessing technology to create meaningful impact for Brunei.
For DST, the recognition represents more than an award. It celebrates the people, ideas and collective efforts behind the company’s ongoing innovation journey, as DST continues to explore new technologies and develop solutions that respond to the evolving needs of its users, businesses and the wider community.
The occasion also provided an opportunity for DST to showcase its digital capabilities and innovations.
During the event, His Royal Highness toured the DST exhibition, where he was briefed on the company’s digital initiatives, technology solutions and innovations.
Receiving the award from His Royal Highness marked a particularly proud moment for DST and its employees, further reinforcing the company’s commitment to contributing to Brunei’s digital transformation.
The recognition will further motivate DST to continue dreaming bigger, innovating further and delivering technology solutions that create meaningful value for its users and contribute towards a more digitally connected Brunei.
