Bullying brings negative impacts to the victim, and is against Islam and should not be taken lightly. Hence, the implementation of the Anti-Bullying Campaign can be seen as an early mechanism in addressing said issue, aside from stressing the need for Whole of Nation approach and collaboration to empower prevention efforts at all levels of society. This was among the matters highlighted during a Nadwah or discussion on contemporary issues and increase understanding on the Ahli Sunnah Waljama'ah. It was held at the official residence of the Temburong District Officer, 20th November morning.
Among those attending was Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer. The Nadwah among other things aimed to instil the values of religious moderation and family according to the Ahli Sunnah Waljama'ah, aside from identifying contemporary Fiqh approaches in addressing current family issues. Also held was a lecture titled 'Concept of Religious Moderation in Brunei Darussalam.'
