The Language Centre, Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB in collaboration with the Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs; Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University; Rabitah International Alumni of Al-Azhar Al-Syarif Brunei Darussalam; and the Brunei Arabic Language Association, organised the National Arabic Language Mu'tamar in conjunction with the month of Syaaban, the month of the Arabic language. The event was held 16th February morning at the KUPU SB.
Present was Dr. Haji Abang Hadzmin bin Haji Abang Taha, Acting Ra'es of KUPU SB. With the theme 'Transformation of Arabic Language Education in the Era of Artificial Intelligence', the Mu'tamar was enlivened with a forum featuring 3 local panels. There was also a presentation of the Arabic Language Scholar Award to Dayang Hajijah binti Haji Moktal. The Arabic Short Video Competition was won by Awang Mohammad Akid Zawawi bin Ahzam from the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School.
