The Brunei Darussalam National Laboratory Strategic Plan Workshop is expected to strengthen the country's National Health Laboratory System through the development of the first National Laboratory Strategic Plan. The 3-day workshop was launched on 26th August in Gadong, and brings together national and regional laboratory experts, policymakers and stakeholders.
The workshop features sharing sessions from regional laboratory experts. A comprehensive, multisectoral National Laboratory Strategic Plan strengthens laboratory governance, diagnostic services, quality systems, workforce capacity, and regional collaboration, aligning with Wawasan Brunei 2035, the International Health Regulations, and ASEAN health security priorities.
