In conjunction with 79th Royal Birthday Celebration, Temburong District Mukim and Village Consultative Council organised Nationwide Mukim-Mukim Sports event. 14 traditional sports were competed at Temburong Sports Complex, 31st August morning.
The event began with a nine kilometre cycling event. Among the participant was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. Also present was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council.
The overall champion was Temburong District, followed by Brunei Muara District in second place, while Tutong District and Belait District were in third and fourth place respectively. Prizes were presented by Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer.
