The Nationwide Religious Programme in conjunction with the 35th Teachers' Day celebration for Arabic and religious schools was also held simultaneously throughout the country. The programme included the reading of Surah Yasin, Teacher's Day Doa and tazkirah or short talk.
In Brunei Muara District, the programme's focal point was at Pengiran Anak Puteri Mutawakillah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School.
The Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah was the focal point of the programme in Belait District.
Whereas in Tutong District, the programme was focused at Tanjong Maya Religious School. The programme's goal was to commemorate the teacher's services and contributions.
