Nearly 300 hiking enthusiasts took part in an expedition to explore the Panchor Murai Eco Trail in conjunction with its official opening yesterday.
Project Nekad Murni leader of the Kampong Panchor Murai Consultative Council Japar bin Haji Osman expressed confidence that Panchor Murai Eco Trail would attract more hiking enthusiasts seeking to challenge their physical capabilities and gain new experiences while exploring the recreational route.
He said that, besides giving visitors the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature, hiking could also encourage the public to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle. He added that the trail has the potential to serve as a platform to showcase the area’s natural attractions and the unique identity of Kampong Panchor Murai to local communities and international visitors.
“With this recreational attraction, Kampong Panchor Murai has the potential to become a destination of choice for those seeking to spend their leisure time engaging in healthy activities while enjoying the beauty of nature,” he said.
