The all-new Toyota Hilux 2.8 marks a new chapter for the iconic pick-up, combining its legendary toughness, durability and capability with a bold new design, enhanced technology and a more refined driving experience.
The new Toyota Hilux 2.8 was officially unveiled at the NBT Toyota ‘Best in Town’ Experience Roadshow at The Atrium, The Mall Gadong yesterday by President of Inchcape Brunei Haji Ahmad Omar bin Pehin Haji Husin, Vice President of Inchcape Brunei Muhammad Clovien bin Abdullah Timpoh, General Manager of Baiduri Finance Jonathan Lim, and Interim Acting Managing Director of BIBD At-Tamwil Berhad Haji Shamri bin Haji Mahali.
The all-new Toyota Hilux 2.8 is built around the theme ‘Power Every Move’. The all-new Hilux 2.8 combines bold styling, modern technology, everyday comfort and dependable performance. Whether navigating urban streets, tackling challenging terrain, supporting business operations or heading out on weekend adventures, the Hilux is built to move with confidence wherever life takes you.
Available in auto mid, auto high and manual mid variants, the Hilux 2.8 line-up offers customers the flexibility to choose a model that best suits their lifestyle and requirements.
The exterior is designed to stand out in both urban and outdoor environments. The new Hilux features a refreshed appearance highlighted by a cyber sumo theme grille front grille, giving the pick-up a more confident and contemporary look. It is available in six exterior colours: super white, silver metallic, ash, attitude black, emotional red and sulfur metallic.
The new Hilux auto mid, the launch highlight, offers a balance of capability, comfort and technology. Key features include a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine, six-speed automatic transmission with multi-terrain select (MTS), cyber sumo theme grille, LED headlamps with DRL and an eight-inch infotainment system.
Meanwhile, the Hilux auto high variant offers a more premium driving experience. Additional features include a 12.3-inch digital cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment system, synthetic leather seats, push-start system, blind spot monitor (BSM), Toyota safety sense (TSS), panoramic view monitor (PVM) and others.
The new Hilux manual mid variant is built for drivers who prefer greater control and practicality. Powered by the 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine, the variant features a six-speed manual transmission with auto limited slip differential (Auto LSD) and traction control system for safety.
