New platform aims to reduce donation-related fraud

A pre-launch and handover ceremony of the IhsanBN Platform was held at Ittisal Hall, Civil Service Institute on Wednesday, aiming to provide a centralised platform to facilitate public access to information on authorised donation campaigns and reliable community assistance channels.

The ceremony marked the implementation of an initiative by Ihsan37, comprising participants of the 37th Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO-37), under its community outreach project. IhsanBN is an initiative developed under Ihsan37’s community outreach project, guided by the aspiration ‘Verify, Trust, Give’, and aims to enhance transparency, strengthen public confidence in charitable activities and reduce the risk of donation-related fraud.

The initiative is also expected to encourage more confident, responsible and meaningful public participation in contributing to the well-being of those in need.

Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan was the guest of honour.
