New walkway improves access to Wasai Teraja

Members of the Teraja Longhouse Committee recently constructed a new walkway and cleared the access route to Wasai Teraja in the Labi area, Belait District.

The initiative was attended by Teraja Committee Chairman Awang Burong Nyanggau and Deputy Chairman Awang Kamarau Jamit.

The previous access road and pathway had been obstructed and damaged by fallen trees and strong currents from the Teraja River over the past several months.

The new walkway is aimed at improving accessibility, comfort and safety for visitors, particularly tourists.

The initiative is also part of preparations for Visit Brunei Year 2027, supporting efforts to enhance facilities and access to one of the area’s natural attractions.
