BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Isnin, 8 Disember. – Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam, berkenan mempengerusikan Mesyuarat Lembaga Pengarah Syarikat Brunei LNG Sendirian Berhad (BLNG) Ke-227 dan Mesyuarat Lembaga Pengarah Syarikat Brunei Gas Carriers Sendirian Berhad (BGC) Ke-113 bagi Suku Keempat tahun 2025, yang berlangsung di bangunan Jabatan Perdana Menteri (JPM), di sini. Keberangkatan tiba Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dijunjung oleh Menteri di JPM dan Menteri Kewangan dan Ekonomi II, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah; dan Timbalan Menteri (Tenaga) di JPM, Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd. Hanifah, selaku Ahli-ahli Lembaga Pengarah BLNG dan BGC. Mesyuarat berkenaan dimulakan dengan bacaan doa. Pada permulaan mesyuarat, Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia berkenan mengurniakan titah. Dalam titah, Kebawah DYMM telah mengiktiraf prestasi kukuh serta kemajuan yang dicapai sepanjang tahun ini, khususnya dalam memastikan kecekapan operasi, kedudukan kewangan yang berdaya tahan, serta komitmen terhadap keselamatan. Sehubungan dengan itu, baginda bertitah menekankan bahawa perbincangan sepanjang dua hari yang akan datang adalah amat penting bagi menumpukan pelan perniagaan dan strategi setiap syarikat bagi tahan-tahun mendatang. Kebawah DYMM turut bertitah menegaskan bahawa strategi-strategi tersebut hendaklah bersifat berpandangan jauh, selaras dengan hala tuju negara ke arah pertumbuhan mampan dan peningkatan nilai. Titah baginda lagi, ini termasuk memperkukuh daya saing pada masa hadapan, meningkatkan keberkesanan kaedah kerja, mempercepat adaptasi kepada perubahan industri tenaga global, serta menetapkan hala tuju nilai yang lebih jelas dan inovatif. Mesyuarat juga membincangkan perkara-perkara penting seperti prestasi operasi, keselamatan, kewangan dan pembangunan tenaga manusia, serta strategi jangka panjang bagi BLNG dan BGC. Mesyuarat berkenaan juga dihadiri oleh pihak-pihak berkepentingan termasuk Shareholder Directors yang mewakili Kerajaan Kebawah DYMM; Shell plc termasuk Mr. Richard Howe; Executive Vice President of Conventional Oil and Gas at Shell dan Mitsubishi Corporation termasuk Mr. Gen Kunihiro, Division Chief Operating Officer, LNG-Asia Pacific Division, Environmental Energy Group at Mitsubishi Corporation serta ahli-ahli kepimpinan daripada BLNG dan BGC. Kebawah DYMM juga seterusnya akan mempengerusikan Mesyuarat Lembaga Pengarah-pengarah Brunei Shell Petroleum Sendirian Berhad (BSP) Ke-417 dan Mesyuarat Lembaga Pengarah-pengarah Brunei Shell Marketing Sendirian Berhad (BSM) Ke-195 bagi Suku Keempat tahun 2025 pada hari esok.
