Over 100 members from Mashhor General Contractor Sdn Bhd collected 45 bags of washed-up rubbish during a beach cleaning campaign at the Lumut Liang Recreational Club Beach on October 24, 2026, as part of its Healthy Lifestyle Programme.
The campaign aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage environmental awareness, and reinforce the company’s commitment to maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.
Through the collective efforts of the participants, the collected waste weighed 350 kilogrammes, comprising discarded materials found along the coastline such as plastic bottles, fishing nets, and scrap metal.
The initiative highlights the company’s dedication to environmental sustainability and community wellbeing through meaningful corporate social responsibility activities.
Through its Healthy Lifestyle Programme, the company encourages employees to adopt healthier habits, strengthen teamwork, and participate in initiatives that support both personal wellness and environmental protection. – Daniel Lim
