Team ‘E’ emerged champions of the BSRC Community Mini Friendly Team Tournament, which brought together 64 community players for a one-night badminton competition at the Brunei Social and Recreation Club (BSRC) Badminton Hall recently.
The tournament featured eight teams randomly formed from the 64 participants, with eight players in each team.
Team ‘C’ finished runners-up, while Team ‘B’ claimed third place. The tournament was played in a league stage before progressing to the knockout stage on the same evening.
The competition focused on the men’s doubles category and used a 31-point system with no deuce, ensuring fast-paced matches throughout the tournament.
BSRC expressed gratitude to all participants, the organising committee and the wider community for their support in making the tournament a success.
