To attract more Bruneian students pursuing higher education, enhance their skills and obtain scholarship opportunities in the European Union, EU through the EU-Brunei Darussalam partnership, a Panel Discussion was held with EU Ambassadors. The panel discussion aimed to promote academic mobility, research collaboration and people-to-people exchanges between the EU and Brunei Darussalam. The talk was held during the 11th Higher Education Expo which took place at Bridex, Jerudong, 7th February afternoon.
His Excellency Denis Chaibi, the EU Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam in his keynote speech among others highlighted the importance of making investment in education. He said the EU participation in the Education Expo reflects their strong commitment to support the aspirations of Brunei Darussalam's youth and to widen access to world-class higher education across EU Member States. The panel discussion was participated by Her Excellency Eve Lubin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France and His Excellency Weert Börner, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany.
