Brunei Darussalam’s Pantai Mentiri Golf Club emerged champions in both the team Gross and team Nett events at the Brunei-Sabah Friendly Golf Game at Pantai Mentiri Golf Club on Wednesday.
The home team carded a total score of 475 from six players to finish top in the team Gross event, while the Sabah team finished second with a gross score of 501 strokes.
Pantai Mentiri also claimed the team Nett event with a total score of 423, ahead of Sabah’s 426.
Brunei’s Pengiran Syakir bin Pengiran Haji Alli received the trophy as the overall Gross winner with a score of 73, while Brunei’s Irwan Abdul Hamid won the overall individual Nett title with a score of 67.
Leading Brunei’s Pantai Mentiri Golf Club team was Haji Aminuddin bin Haji Awang Mohd Ali, while the Sabah team was led by Datuk Haji Yussof bin Awang Basar.
