Brunei Darussalam is participating in the 45th King Abdulaziz International Holy Qur'an Competition. It starts 8th August 2025 until 20th August 2025, in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. 2 national representatives to the competition left the country on 7th August late afternoon.
The country's representative for the 15 chapters of Al-Qur'an Memorisation Category is Awang Muhammad Hassanul Jamsyir Ali bin Jais. Meanwhile, the 30 chapters of Al-Qur'an Memorisation Category is Awang Muhammad Amin Yusof bin Muhammad Arifin, a student of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute.
