PricewaterhouseCoopers Services, the affiliate firm of Isla Lipana & Co/PwC Philippines in Brunei Darussalam, proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary – marking a decade of delivering high-quality assurance and assurance-related services to clients across the Bruneian market.
Founded in 2016 to establish PwC’s presence in Brunei, PricewaterhouseCoopers Services has steadily strengthened its position in the local business market, serving some of the largest companies across key industries such as oil and gas, energy, telecommunications, hospitality, aviation, and financial services. Under the leadership of Managing Partner Xiang Yuin Chai, the firm has experienced significant growth and today comprises nearly 60 skilled, dedicated professionals – 11 of whom are managers and senior associates promoted on July 1, 2026.
Over the past decade, PricewaterhouseCoopers Services has played a key role in supporting businesses in Brunei as they navigate evolving regulatory requirements, strengthen governance and reporting practices, and pursue sustainable growth. Through its commitment to quality, technical excellence, and client service, the firm has established itself as a trusted advisor to organisations across the country.
The firm’s anniversary celebration, held on July 21, 2026, brought together clients, government officials, business leaders, and PwC colleagues to commemorate this significant milestone.
In her welcome remarks, Chai reflected on the firm’s journey and the collective efforts that have shaped its success over the years.
“As we look toward our second decade, we remain committed to investing in our people, supporting our clients, and contributing to Brunei’s continued development and prosperity. We are excited about what lies ahead and confident that the relationships we have built over the past ten years will continue to grow stronger in the years to come,” she said.
PwC Philippines Chairman and Senior Partner Roderick Danao also shared a message of support, reaffirming the firm’s enduring commitment to Brunei’s continued growth, development, and progress.

The celebration was graced by Minister of Finance II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, attending as guest of honour – underscored the strong relationship between the firm and the broader Bruneian business and professional community.
