The Narcotics Control Bureau, NCB, remains committed to efforts to prevent drug abuse through education and public awareness, especially among the younger generation. The Second Poster Drawing Contest Prize Presentation Ceremony was held in conjunction with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2025 at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, 7th February morning. It was organised in collaboration with the Department of Co-Curricular Education to foster civic awareness and drug prevention among youth through the medium of creative arts.
Prizes were presented by Awang Aliuddin bin Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. The champion of the Upper Secondary Category was Awang Noor Mohammad Rahmat Dini Asa Bin Salim. While the winner for the Sixth Form Centre Category was Dayang Aina Adriana Binti Ariffeen. Themed “Sinar Menuju Pemulihan" or “Light Towards Recovery", the programme highlighted the commitment of the younger generation to the aspirations of a drug-free nation through visual interpretations of the journey from the darkness of drug influence to a prosperous future.
