Programme promotes sustainable donations for patients needing assistance

Kumpulan Sinar Hayat, comprising officers from the 37th Cohort of the Executive Development Programme for Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO) conducted by Civil Service Institute, handed over the Implementation Guide and Checklist together with awareness posters for Project Lestari Harapan to Acting Special Grade Chief Executive Officer, Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Health (MoH) Siti Ajar binti Haji Yusop.

Project Lestari Harapan, themed ‘From Seasonal Giving to Sustainable Care’, is a community outreach project carried out in collaboration with the Medical Social Work Unit, MoH, to strengthen support the Tabung Amal Bantuan Pesakit (TABP) through a simple, accessible and sustainable micro-donation approach.

The project aims to raise public awareness of the existence and role of TABP in providing assistance to patients in need. The project also introduces more convenient donation methods through banking applications and QR codes, making it easier for the public to contribute to TABP.

This approach is intended to encourage a more consistent culture of giving and help establish a continuous source of donations to support the needs of patients.

In line with this initiative, Kumpulan Sinar Hayat also handed over Project Lestari Harapan awareness posters, which were developed in accordance with the Implementation Guide and Checklist.

The guide will serve as a reference for the MoH to implement, coordinate and monitor the initiatives introduced under the project. With this guide in place, the initiatives can be carried out in a more structured and consistent manner, in line with the established requirements and objectives.
