The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development AIBD, together with UNESCO's International Programme for the Development of Communication IPDC and Radio Television Brunei RTB, launched a Regional Training on Empowering Women Journalists for Crisis Reporting. The workshop is held at a hotel in Gadong, 21st October morning.
Awang Cheong Chee Keong, Acting Director of RTB highlighted the critical role of women journalists, noting that the initiative comes at a pivotal time. The 3-day workshop gathers more than 20 women journalists and media professionals from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia and Malaysia.
