Part of Jalan Tengah in Seria will be opened following the risk assessment and mitigation measures conducted. Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sendirian Berhad ( BSP) in a statement announced that the road, starting from the Roxana Fuel Station to the Anduki roundabout, will re-open on the 4th of February at 6 in the morning.
Recovery efforts to manage the operational incident at the Seria Crude Oil Terminal (SCOT) are still ongoing but progressing well. The situation is under control and BSP will continue to actively monitor the situation. Fire response equipment will remain visible next to the road as a precautionary measure whilst the recovery activities are being completed.
