Repairs at water treatment plant may affect supply » Borneo Bulletin Online

The Public Works Department (JKR) is carrying out urgent repairs to the chlorine dosing system at the Sumbiling Water Treatment Plant in Temburong District.

In a press statement, the department said the works could disrupt the water supply or reduce water pressure in affected areas, particularly Mukim Amo, Mukim Bokok, and surrounding areas.

Blue water tanks have been placed at designated locations, including Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar Mosque in Kampong Bokok, Bokok Religious School, the STKRJ Rataie bus stop, Kampong Rataie Community Hall, Kampong Rataie National Housing Scheme Mosque, Rataie Primary School and Kampong Belais Mosque to assist affected residents.

Residents requiring water tanker services may contact Darussalam Line 123. – Daniel Lim
