A Brunei Darussalam delegation comprising 16 youth and a national leader returned home on 17th February afternoon, after joining the 49th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme, SSEAYP in Tokyo, Japan.
Present at Brunei International Airport to welcome the delegation was Dayang Hajah Umi Kalthum binti Haji Abdul Karim, Director of Youth and Sports. The 35-day programme began in Tokyo, Japan, sailing on the Nippon Maru ship to Singapore and ending in Thailand. The participants took part in various activities organised by the host countries, including discussions, cultural exchanges, field trips, courtesy calls and interactions with youth.
