Teachers from Sekolah Rendah Dato Marsal (SRDM) who served between 1991 and 1998 held a joint celebration for Maulidur Rasul and Teacher’s Day (1448H/2026M) in a spirit of camaraderie at a cafe in Telanai recently.
Organised through the initiative of the SRDM Ad Hoc Committee with the support of teachers, the event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Muhaimin bin Haji Md Noor.
Ad Hoc Committee Chairman Haji Othman bin Abdul Rahman recounted several charitable and community-building activities undertaken since the committee’s inception.
The gathering served not only as an opportunity to reminisce about the time spent serving together but also as a space to strengthen bonds, catch up, share memories, and engage in beneficial activities.
Former headmaster of SRDM Haji Sikun bin Rayun was the guest of honour.
