The Selawat Muslimah ceremony encouraged Muslimah's involvement in religious programmes, as well as expressing love for the Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam through the practice of increasing selawat. The ceremony took place at the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, 21st September morning.
Almost 200 Muslimah participated in the ceremony. It was jointly organised by Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and Firqah Ad-Durrani in collaboration with Rumi Events and Remembrance.
