The Israk Mikraj highlighted the special position of Prophet Muhammad SAW in Islam's history. It also emphasised not only on the Prophet's remarkable journey, it also underlined the wisdom and profound lessons that serve as a guidance for the lives of Muslims. This was among the content of a special lecture in commemorating Israk Mikraj organised by the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque Takmir Committee. It was held at the said mosque, 18th January early morning.
Among those attending was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister's Office.
The talk titled “Hikmah di Sebalik Peristiwa Isra' dan Mi'raj" also emphasized the importance of prayer, as the pillar of religion and the main link between servants and Allah SWT. Also held was the reading of Doa Selamat and Special Doa for the healing, perfect health, and lasting well-being of His Majesty.
