The Roxana Fuel Station has welcomed a new member to its team – Labubu, affectionately nicknamed ‘Bubu’, a friendly local cat who has taken on the role of the station’s feline attendant.
Once a stray, Labubu had become a familiar sight at the station, where staff noticed his friendly nature and ease around visitors. His presence soon became a source of warmth and comfort for customers and staff alike.
Recognising an opportunity to give the cat a safe and permanent home, the station adopted Labubu and welcomed him as an honorary member of its team.
Dressed in his own feline attire, Labubu has settled comfortably into his new routine.
Among his daily duties is keeping the cashier company alongside his human colleagues, while he also conducts his own informal safety inspections by wandering around the station’s Singgah store.
After a hard day’s work, Labubu is rewarded with plenty of wet cat food – and, naturally, ample time for a well-earned nap.
From stray to station staff, Labubu has certainly found himself a new home and a unique role in the community.
