Support towards Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises, MSMEs and plans to promote local coffees were among the matters highlighted during queries on the fourth day of the session.
Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy said the Industry and Business Ecosystem Division is actively drafting an MSME policy aimed to provide a strategic direction. This is to strengthen the role of MSMEs as the country's economic contributors.
On the long-term health financing road map, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health said the ministry is always reviewing the existing policies towards ensuring the sustainability and capabilities of the health service system. This reflects the government's commitment in facing future challenges proactively and inclusively.
Next was on plans to promote local coffees. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism explained that Mukim Labi has a major potential to be developed as a coffee-based agro-tourism destination. Apart from being unique, the concept is also capable of attracting tourists who appreciate authentic and community-based experiences.
Meanwhile, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports stated that aside from providing financing products, Bank Usahawan is also actively supporting youth entrepreneur's capacity development. This includes financial literary advisory services, book keeping and business skill training, as well as strategic cooperation with education institutions.
