A senior member of Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB brought honour to the country by receiving the ASEAN-United States 2025 Women in Science Award in the Senior Scientist Category in Bangkok, Thailand, recently. The award is in recognition of efforts in research and education, as well as UTB's commitment to research excellence and innovation, as well as strengthening UTB's role as a leader in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, STEM, in the region.
The research results of Doctor Hajah Wida Susanty binti Haji Suhaili, Senior Assistant Professor of UTB on 'Smart Water Management Systems Using I-o-T for Disaster Management and Food Security in Brunei Darussalam,' combined technology to develop a smart water monitoring system.
