19 youths aged between 12 and 17 representing each zone and district participated in the Azan Subuh or Subuh Prayer Call Competition for Youth Mosques Nationwide. The competition was organised by the Mosque Affairs Department through the Youth Affairs Division and the An-Na'im Mosque Takmir Committee, Kampung Panchor Mengkubau in collaboration with the District Mosque Affairs Office. The competition took place at An-Na'im Mosque, Kampung Panchor Mengkubau, 22nd November afternoon.
The competition was won by Awang Muhammad Syahmi bin Muhammad Norawi, representative of Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam Mosque, Zone One, Kampung Sengkarai, Tutong District. Runner-up was Muhammad Ihtifazhuddin bin Suhaili, representing An-Na'im Mosque RPN Kampung Panchor Mengkubau and the third place was won by Mohammad Arsyad Shaliheen bin Haji Mohd Aslenan, from Kampung Kupang Mosque, Zone 2, Tutong District. Prizes were presented by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council. The objective of the competition was to encourage the public, especially the youth, to endear themselves to the mosque.
