Sultan Hassan Temburong Secondary School received Visit from Singapore Delegation

 

 


Sultan Hassan Temburong Secondary School received a group of visitors comprising 88 students including teachers and officials from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Singapore. The visit was to review the implementation of the Malay Language Immersion Programme for Singaporean Students in the country.

 

Among the objectives of the visit were to strengthen the mastery of the Malay language among Singaporean students and foster an understanding of local culture. While in this country, various activities were planned by the school, including attending Malay language teaching and learning sessions and literature workshops. In the afternoon, they visited the Tanjung Bungar Longhouse to watch Iban dance performances and Malay cake making. The group will be in the country until the 14th of November.
