Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam Downstream Director Pengiran Hajah Adimasyaton binti Pengiran Omar Ali to be appointed as Permanent Secretary (Energy, Upstream and Downstream) at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Permanent Secretary (Security and Welfare) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Awang Salminan bin Haji Burut as Permanent Secretary (Community Welfare) at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Permanent Secretary (Municipal and District) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan as Permanent Secretary (Strategic Management, Policy and Corporate) at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Security and Welfare) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Dayang Nor Hamidah binti Haji Hamidon to be promoted and appointed as Permanent Secretary (Security, Enforcement and Legal Affairs) at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy, Corporate and Planning) at the Ministry of Home Affairs Dayang Siti Norashikin binti Mohammad Salleh to be promoted and appointed as Permanent Secretary (Social and Manpower Policies) at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Acting Permanent Secretary (Fiscal I) at the Ministry of Finance Awang Haji Asrul Adrain bin Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Ahmad to be promoted and appointed as Permanent Secretary (Fiscal) at the Ministry of Finance.
Director of Policy and Planning at the Ministry of Health Awang Haji Adi Ihram bin Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud to be promoted and appointed as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Infrastructure, Housing and Professional) at the Ministry of Development Awang Haji Shaharuddin Khairul bin Haji Anuar to be promoted and appointed as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development.
Deputy Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the Ministry of Education Dr Chin Wei Keh to be promoted and appointed as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development.
Acting Director of Schools at the Ministry of Education Dr Eddy Fadzlin bin Haji Amdan to be promoted and appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education.
His Majesty has also consented to the restructuring of functions under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Job Centre Brunei and the Manpower Planning Office under the Prime Minister’s Office shall be transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Labour Department shall be renamed to the Department of Manpower and Employment.
The date of promotion and appointment of the said senior officers and restructuring of functions of Job Centre Brunei and the Manpower Planning Office under the Prime Minister’s Office to the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the renaming of the Labour Department to the Department of Manpower and Employment is effective from 20th of Safar, 1448 Hijrah, corresponding to August 4, 2026.
