The Bandar Ku Ceria Programme, also known as BKC that is held every Sunday remains as a highly awaited event by some people in the country. It was one of the initiative to support healthy lifestyle among the people in the country.
As early as six in the morning, several roads in the capital are temporarily closed to give way for the people to do recreational activities. Without any vehicles on said roads, it allows visitors to do family and recreational activities safely.
BKC is also a focal point for families. Sales booth are set up to give visitors the opportunity to shop and spend quality time with their family.
The BKC initiative is in-line with the government's efforts to create a healthy, happy and harmonious environment for the people's well-being.
