Basic matters regarding fasting during the month of Ramadan, mental, physical and spiritual preparations as well as issues related to fasting were among those touched upon in the talk during the Tarbiyah Ahead of Ramadan with new Converts. Organised by the Islamic Da'wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Mualaf Development Division (Tarbiyah Mualaf), it was held at the Conference Hall of the Centre, 7th February morning.
The programme among others provides an understanding of the obligation of fasting as well as preparing oneself before entering the month of Ramadan. The programme included a talk titled "Ahlan Wa Sahlan Ya Ramadan" delivered by Haji Awang Muhammad Najib bin Haji Awang, Religious Development Officer, Islamic Da'wah Centre. It is hoped to further increase the understanding of new converts about the advantages of the fasting month and enliven the spirit of Ramadan as early as possible and also correct intentions and practices before the arrival of the blessed month.
