BEUTEA, a Malaysian tea franchise that blends traditional Chinese tea with modern beverage concepts, officially opened its first outlet on Friday in Brunei Darussalam at Setia Kenangan II Complex.

With more than 100 outlets worldwide, BEUTEA Malaysia was founded by sisters Jess Wong and Alice Wong, who share a deep love for tea. To them, tea is more than just a beverage – it evokes the warmth of home, offers a moment of pause between conversations and serves as a comforting companion through both calm and busy days, bringing a little lightness to everyday life.

The founders sought to bridge the gap between traditional tea culture, which was often perceived as complex, and the modern beverage scene, which is increasingly driven by trends.

Alice, who was also present at the launch, shared in her welcoming remark, “At BEUTEA, we believe that tea is more than just a beverage. It is about bringing people together, creating memorable experiences, and connecting people through quality and innovation.”

She added, “Our vision is to bring tea drinking culture to the international stage, while continuously innovating to meet the tastes and expectations of customers in different markets. We want BEUTEA to be recognised not only for the quality of our drinks, but also for our brand identity, our energy, and the experiences we create for our customers. Our ambition is not simply to open more outlets. Our ambition is to build a brand that people love, trust, and are proud to be part of – wherever BEUTEA goes.”

She highlighted, “Brunei is an important part of our international journey. We are excited to introduce our products to the people of Brunei and to become part of this community. We hope that every cup of BEUTEA brings a little happiness to our customers and becomes part of their everyday moments.”

“At BEUTEA, we believe in growing together. When our partners succeed, BEUTEA succeeds. We are committed to supporting our partners, strengthening our operations, and continuously improving our products and customer experience.”

Meanwhile Manager and owner Zhen Yie of Syarikat Zenvy Global F&B, who is Brunei’s master licensee of BEUTEA added, “Bringing BEUTEA to Brunei has been an exciting journey, and we are truly grateful for the support, guidance, and trust that have made this day possible. Our sincere thanks go to the BEUTEA Malaysia team for their support and for giving us the opportunity to be part of the BEUTEA family.”
