The Public Works Department advised motorists to exercise caution as temporary road closures were imposed at the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge to facilitate works involving 66kV cables.
The cable installation works are being carried out from September 22 to 30, 2026 along the Temburong-bound lane of the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge.
The work will affect the stretch of road at KM T24.4 and KM T18.6, with the closure remaining in place throughout the period until the works are completed.
A road diversion will be provided. Motorists have been urged to observe traffic signs and comply with the stipulated speed limit while travelling through the affected area.
