In conjunction with the 20th National Youth Day Celebration, the Youth and Sports Department, Tutong District Branch held a two-day Tutong Youth Festival. It was launched at the Tutong Sports Complex, 16th August night.
The launch was officiated by Awang Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, Permanent Secretary for Youth at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Also present was Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer. The event was enlivened with a friendly tug-of-war match between the Youth and Sports Department, Tutong District Branch and the Mukim Penghulu and Village Head Institution, Tutong District Office. Other activities included a joint performance by the Tutong IMPAK Youth Movement and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces' Band.
