Regarding the concern of groups who are affected by the implementation of the updated Health Service Charge Policy, the Minister of Health stressed that continuous monitoring will be carried out in collaboration with related agencies to ensure the policy review is carried out properly.
Yang Berhormat emphasised that the update is not a discriminatory measure or punitive action. Rather, it is a necessary measure step to ensure a more sustainable and orderly health system. In addition, the update was not intended to reduce or limit health services for the people. At the same time, healthcare should not be taken lightly, and every individual must play their role to maintain the best level of health.
