The PSJD team from Tutong District won the Veterans' 9-a-side Football Championship in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration. The final match took place at the BSRC Football Field, Seria, yesterday afternoon.
The PSJD team from Tutong District emerged champions after defeating Azam FT team from Brunei Muara District 2-0. A total of nine veteran teams from all four districts participated in the tournament, which was jointly organised by the Panaga 'A' Village Consultative Council and the Brunei Shell Recreation Club, BSRC. Prizes were presented by Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer.
