The Public Works Department (JKR) is investigating water supply disruptions affecting several areas in Belait District, particularly Mukim Labi and its surrounding areas.
The department said it had received complaints regarding the disruption and is carrying out investigations to identify the cause.
Appropriate measures have also been taken to assist residents in some of the affected areas while investigations are ongoing.
In the meantime, residents requiring water may obtain supplies from blue water tanks provided at five locations – Rumah Panjang Mendaram Besar, Rumah Panjang Melayan, Balai Raya Labi, Dewan Rempayoh and Rumah Panjang Teraja.
JKR said further updates will be issued once more information becomes available.
The department also expressed appreciation for the public’s patience and cooperation while efforts are being made to address the disruption.
