The Public Works Department under the Ministry of Development will carry out water tank cleaning works for several water tanks in Belait District in the coming days while some affected areas may experience low water pressure or temporary water supply disruptions.
On September 22, 2026, a water tank cleaning work will be conducted at Keluyoh ‘B’ Water Tank from 8am. The affected areas are Kampong Keluyoh and its surrounding areas.
A water tank cleaning work is expected to be carried out for Andulau ‘2b’ Water Tank on September 24 from 8am. Residents at Kampong Sungai Mau, Kampong Bukit Puan and its surrounding will be affected.
On September 26, AGIS-AGIS ‘A’ Water Tank will have its tank cleaned from 8am affecting residents at Kampong Sungai Liang, Kampong Agis-Agis, Kampong Sungai Lalit, Kampong Sungai Kang, Kampong Sungai Kuru, Kampong Lumut Tersusun, Kampong Sungai Bakong and its surrounding areas.
The public is advised to store sufficient water before the scheduled works begin.
Water supply will resume gradually when cleaning works are completed, however it will take time for it to fully recover in some areas.
