His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam are to attend the 60th National Day Parade of the Republic of Singapore, which will be held on 9th August 2025, at the invitation of His Excellency Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore.
The visit of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri to attend the National Day Parade of the Republic of Singapore reflects the close, warm, and longstanding friendship between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore.
Both countries enjoy excellent bilateral cooperation, especially in the areas of trade and investment, currency interchangeability, defence, as well as people-to-people relations, and also work closely together at the regional and international level, including in ASEAN, the United Nations, and the Commonwealth. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri last attended the National Day Parade in 2019 in commemoration of the Republic of Singapore Bicentennial.
