Ahmad Faid Ismat won a brand-new Sealion 6 after selecting the correct key to open the grand prize of the BYD | HM Promotion campaign at the BYD | Denza Showroom in Telanai on Saturday night before some 700 guests.
Executive Director of Maju Motors Sdn Bhd Stanley Lim and Managing Director of Maju Motors Chan Key Hong presented the grand prize.
Following his win, Ahmad Faid Ismat said, “Alhamdulillah, I feel incredibly blessed and grateful. No words can truly describe what I felt inside. Allah the Almighty is the greatest planner; what is meant to be ours, is meant to be ours. Rezeki is all written. I also want to give a special thanks to my family members who supported me in getting this car.”
He added, “I bought the Sealion 6 (SL6). I secured it and put down a deposit during the recent mall roadshow, and signed the contract a few days ago – just in time to get into the lucky draw! I chose BYD because I feel they have built a strong reputation over the years, not only in Brunei but worldwide. I did a lot of research and decided to try one for myself.” He also expressed his gratitude to Maju Motors for the prize.
The draw also featured more than BND8,000 in cash prizes, alongside complimentary vehicle servicing packages for selected winners.
The event was part of the wider BYD | HM Promotion, which has committed BND100,000 worth of prizes to reward BYD and Denza customers through cash rewards, servicing perks, lifestyle gifts, and vehicle giveaways.
With over 700 people attending, the draw highlighted the growing community and rising interest in new energy vehicles (NEVs) in Brunei Darussalam, marking one of the nation’s largest automotive promotional gatherings. Attendees also witnessed the official launch of BYD bodykits for the BYD M9, Seal 5, Sealion 6, and Sealion 7.
