The high spirit of unity among citizens and residents of Tutong District was further highlighted by the Get-together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam visited the special tents. Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons and brother; His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah.
The joyous atmosphere reflects the close relationship and love of the people for the Monarch. The unity of a multi-racial society is the key to peace, prosperity, stability and continuous development of the country. The practice of mutual respect and unity is a symbol of solidarity and identity of the Bruneian people.
The special moment was also not missed by those with special needs, senior citizens and youth. Citizens and residents continue to mobilise their energy to contribute to the nation.
His Majesty and the Royal Family then proceeded to a Luncheon. His Majesty was introduced to four individuals who have made significant contributions to the country. Doa selamat was read by Awang Haji Kaharuddin bin Mohd Ali, Judge of the Tutong District Syariah Subordinate Court.
Well-known for its rich culture and heritage, Tutong District has a high reputation in the eco-tourism sector.
