The Women's Assembly in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul Celebration was held in the three districts. The ceremony was attended by government and non-government officials and staff; women's associations and the women's bureau of Mukim and Village Consultative Councils. The ceremony was enlivened with Special Talks.
In Belait District, the ceremony was held at the Kuala Belait Conference Hall. It was attended by some six hundred Muslimah. Present was Datin Dayang Fadzlin binti Haji Hashim, Wife of the Minister of Development.
The Women's Assembly in Tutong District was held at the hall of Mahad Islam Brunei. Some five hundred people participated in the event. In attendance was Datin Paduka Doctor Hajah Dayang Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, Wife of the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism.
In Temburong District, a similar ceremony was held at the Civic Centre Complex in Bangar Town. Present was Datin Dayang Hajah Mahayon binti Haji Mohd Taha, Wife of the Minister of Transport and Info-Communications.
